Trivia: True or false: Google is testing green links in the search results? Get answer.

Hello, and welcome to another edition of The Signal! I hope you're having a fabulous week.

As we approach dinner time, I find myself craving a Big Mac. But hold on a second, should I be concerned that McDonald's AI might surprise me with a BBQ McFlurry instead? Yes, you heard it right! In the US, McDonald's AI-based order system has been driving customers absolutely bonkers by adding stacks of butter and bacon-topped ice cream to orders, which has forced restaurants to ditch the tech altogether. Perhaps AI isn’t the best chef in the kitchen and isn't going to be the go-to for recipes!

Elsewhere, AI is proving to be a real hero in medical science. Researchers have developed a blood test using AI that can detect Parkinson's seven years before symptoms appear – with 100% accuracy. Now, that’s truly fantastic!

If you're a fellow Modern Family fan, you'll be delighted to know the cast reunited this week, appearing in an advert for WhatsApp. It's nostalgic seeing them together after the show wrapped up four years ago – or could this be a hint at a comeback?

Lastly, there's another reality show I've been watching recently – the UK general election. According to Google Trends, the Lib Dems' game show campaign is making a splash – great marketing strategies, Sir Ed Davey! For more election search stats, take a look right here.

Let's get into this week's Top Picks!
